Short term work can be helpful to focus on specific or current issues, or negotiating a transition, like a return to work perhaps.
Long term work allows us to explore more of your life and experiences in relation to things you may have been struggling with for some time.
Whether short or long or somewhere in the middle, I believe you are in the best position to decide for how long you need or want counselling and so ultimately the choice of how long we work together is with you.
The number of sessions can be agreed in advance or we can begin and decide as we go.
